Fund Your "On the Table" Idea!

Put your On the Table idea(s) into action with available grant funding.

Over 7,000 Chattahoochee Valley residents came together for conversation on October, 23 2018. After powerful connection and conversation, we often heard the question 'What's Next?'.

In fact, nine in ten survey participants said they were likely to take specific actions regarding something they discussed during their On the Table conversation.

And we wanted to help spur great ideas into action and are offering a total of up to $20,000 through the On the Table Action Grants program to support ideas arising from or inspired by On the Table conversations. Anyone who participated in an On the Table conversation is eligible to apply.

Submitting an application(s) is easy!

You'll just need to complete a brief online application, including a short video featuring an idea of an actionable task to benefit your community. Ideas can be anything from planting a community vegetable garden to buying school supplies for a classroom in need; creating a neighborhood art project to cleaning up a local playground. It's up to you!

The application deadline is March 12, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Grant awards range from $100 to $2,000 and will be awarded to organizations and/or individuals. Recipients will be announced and notified in early April and projects must be completed no later than September 30, 2019. Applicants may submit multiple applications, but only one per project idea.

To apply participants must:

• Have participated in one or more On the Table conversations.

• Create a short video (no longer than 90 seconds) explaining your idea, how it works and its potential impact. These videos can be shot quickly with your phone; no need to be highly produced.

• Submit the online application with the link to your video at the On the Table website (OnTheTableChatt.com) by March 12, 2019, at 5:00p.m.
